The challenge
Patients consistently dropped off between diagnostics and surgery — finding the right test center, comparing prices, and booking was friction-heavy. Every lost patient at the diagnostics step was a lost surgery downstream.
The build
Built a sub-100ms Elasticsearch-powered search across 1M+ records — geolocation, typo tolerance, synonym matching — and an event-based lazy cache for live pricing and availability. Embedded a one-click booking flow directly into the post-consultation patient journey.
